Brian worked as an assistant puppeteer and played Small Nab and Astrig on Roger and the Rotten Trolls for CITV and the Children’s Company.

The show was written by Tim Firth and directed by Julian Kemp. Series 1 won the ‘Best Children’s Entertainment’ award at the 1997 BAFTAs.
